Cloudflare launches Zero Wire to organize critical vulnerability response
Cloudflare introduced Zero Wire, a public vulnerability-intelligence feed inside Cloudflare Radar. Its briefings combine a plain-language explanation, the teams that should investigate, recommended actions, and links to evidence and vendor guidance. The service focuses on critical vulnerabilities in Internet-facing software and separates vulnerability severity from evidence of active exploitation.
Our perspective for technology and security leaders
The practical value is not another alert list, but a way to turn a technical disclosure into operational questions: which assets run the affected version, who owns the update, what evidence is missing, and which compensating controls are active. A business can use these briefings to assign owners and document decisions, but each case still needs confirmation against the original vendor advisory. A WAF may reduce exposure in some scenarios; it does not replace patching or prove that a system was not compromised. This is Radical IT Solutions editorial analysis and does not claim that we deployed the service or imply a Cloudflare partnership.
